THAILAND WALKING CHALLENGE 2009

THE WALK
Our walks in the north will take in some of themost beautiful parts of Thailand as we trek through the countryside and rainforest. You will visit hill tribe villages, an elephant camp and travel down river on bamboo rafts. Down south on the Gulf of Thailand we have two days where you walk on the golden beachs before finishing off with a night in the bustling capitol Bangkok. As part of our team you join a wonderful group of people of all ages and from the four corners of Ireland for the trip of a lifetime.
YOUR CHALLENGE * Raise a minimum of €4,800 for NBCRI.
* Walk approx 15km on each of our 5 walk days. * Your flights, hotel and meals will be provided.
WHAT OUR WALKERS SAY
"Over the past seven years with the NBCRI team I have walked in amazing locations with fantastic, generous and fun loving people all in aid of a wonderful charity. The Grand Canyon Walk in 2008 was amazing, breathtaking, awe inspiring and the stunning scenery made it a walking challenge to remember. Cant wait for Thailand 2009."
Yvonne Keaney - Mullingar
"The last two years participating in the NBCRI walking trips and fundraising have been immensely rewarding. I raised essential funds for a very worthy organisation, made lifelong friendships and had the opportunity to travel to some of the most spectacular sites in the world. I would highly recommend taking part in the Challenge to anyone who wants an adventure to remember."
Bridget Murphy - Cork
"I have many stories to pass on to my grandchildren. I've been all over the world to many places since I started NBCRI walks. One of the highlights of my travels was our 2004 trip to Thailand, what a country. I will never forget rafting on the river, walking on rickety bridges and riding elephants, and that was only one day!"
