PINK AFTERNOON 2010
The third ‘Pink Afternoon’ was held recently in the beautiful surroundings of Lisloughrey Lodge , Cong Co. Mayo. The fundraising lunch in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI), has become a must for ladies of the West and beyond. The day started at noon with a Champagne reception on arrival sponsored by Lisloughrey Lodge with cupcakes from the Galway Cupcakery . Then the ladies had the chance to freshen-up their hair and make-up for free with the beauty team from Bellissimo . After lunch guests were treated to a very special performance from world renowned musician, Frankie Gavin with vocals by Michelle Lally .
The winner of the Pink Afternoon 'Most Elegant Lady Competition' sponsored by milliner, Suzie Mahony was Dr. Aine Ni Rian from Ennis. Aine's prize was a pink inspired hat designed by Suzie for the event. Sandra Divilly from Galway was the winner of the 'Best Accessorised Lady'.
