GALA BANQUET AT DUBLIN CASTLE
At the invitation of An Taoiseach, Mr. Bertie Ahern, TD, St Patrick Hall, Dublin Castle was made available to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute to hold a fundraising banquet. The night was a fantastic success. Just over 200 people attended including An Tánaiste Mary Harney. MC on the night was NBCRI Patron Gráinne Seoige with theatrics by Mac Teo and music by Dordan and Colette Delahunt.
A fundraising auction hosted by auctioneer Felicity Fox was also held which raised in excess of €150,000 with items for auction from Jumeriah, Paul Sheeran Jewellers, Fitzpatrick Hotel Group, designer Sharon Cunningham,and artists Desmon Carrick RHA and Anne Maire Keaveney.
