Coinciding with the launch of October Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2005 an information day for women with breast cancer or those affected by it was held in the Ardilaun House Hotel, Galway on October 2nd.

A panel of experts made up by members of the Cancer Services team at UCHG gave presentations on their dicipline in cancer care and present took part in a Q & A session. This is the second year that an information day has been held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Over 150 members of the public attended.
