20th June - 'Lunch at Lisloughrey'
 On June 20th the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) will hold its fifth ‘Lunch at Lisloughrey’ in the beautiful surroundings of Lisloughrey Lodge, Cong Co. Mayo. The fundraising lunch has become a popular diary date for ladies of the West and beyond. The day starts at noon with a Champagne reception on arrival sponsored by Lisloughrey Lodge. After lunch guests will be treated to some very special entertainment from comedian Frank Forde from RTE’s Liveline Funny Friday Show with Joe Duffy. A fashion show from Clarinbridge boutique, Squisito will be one of the highlights of the event and ‘Best Dressed Lady Competition’ which will be judged by award-winning milliner, Suzie Mahony. To help boost funding for the charity a silent auction will be held with many must have items including two paintings, one by celebrated Galway artist, Pam O’Connell who has exhibited nationally and international and whose work hangs in many collections and public buildings including Department of Agriculture, Radisson SAS Galway and NUI Galway. The other by a rising star of the art world, Colin Burke from Galway, a GTI Art graduate specialising in prints and oil painting who was recently accepted to the National Academy of Art and Design in Dublin. Based in Orlando Florida you will be near Disney World, Universal Studios Florida and SeaWorld. Apart from the sunshine there are many other attractions including world-class resorts and shopping in Orlando. We have some great walks including ones on the Candy Way Trail, an old railway line which has been converted into a beautiful walk and cycle way, free from traffic. Indeed the start point for one of our walks is at 'Killarney Station'. Minimum sponsorship target is €3500.
18th Oct - Lunch at the Shelbourne
Ladies Lunch at the Shelbourne Hotel on 18th October 2013 in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI). Prize for the most stylish lady on the day sponsored by Fran & Jane Blackrock. Champagne Reception 12pm, Lunch at 1pm.Please wear at touch of Pink. 28th Nov - 2nd Dec - New York Walking Challenge
Our popular trip to the Big Apple is at the end of November and will take in walks in Central Park and Manhattan. We will again be based in the attractive French Quarter Hotel which is only a couple of blocks from Time Square. You will have plenty of time to shop till you drop with all the pre Christmas sales in full swing. Minimum sponsorship target is €2500.
